Mya’s story is one such mystery.  This toddler woke up one day with a swelling on her cheek and neck area. Her parents first thought it was a swollen gland so they took her to a pediatrician. The doctor said that it was probably a minor infection and the body will be able to fight it on its own. Mya was sent home with this diagnosis. But, when the infection wouldn’t disappear even after a week, the 

parents took her to a doctor again. It was then that the doctor saw something sticking out from Mya’s cheek. First they though it was a pimple, but it continued growing bigger day by day.
