UPS Store offers to shred children's letters to Santa Claus in viral tweet

The stress of the busy holiday season appears to be taking its toll on the UPS Store's employees.

The social media account for the retail arm of the shipping giant posted a Grinchy message Sunday reading, "If your child addresses a letter to the North Pole, you can leave it with us. We do shredding."
The post quickly drew the attention of Twitter users who were generally stunned by the company's apparent lack of holiday cheer before being taken down Monday afternoon.
Most of the posts on the company's account show retweets in the single digits. The post offering to shred children's letters to Santa sparked nearly 5,000 retweets.
